A year ago tomorrow I opened my second photography shop, Lola's Room.

To celebrate and say thank you, I am giving away four 8x8" prints to one lucky winner and one 10x8" print to the runner up.

The first name picked out of the hat will receive The Simple Things, Hotel, The Typewriter and Waiting for my Sweetheart.



The second name picked will receive Love.

Hello Weekend!

Well it's time for another break, I have been spoilt!

Sale!

I have returned from my rest, it was so lovely to see my family and have a break from work. I am on holiday again next week so I am feeling very lucky right now.
I feel comfortable taking my two year old son on long train journies now so we are visiting my parents as much as we can, they want to see him grow up!

This means my blog has taken a back seat lately but will be regular when I return.

I have created a temporary sale section in my shop, Cassia Beck. There are a limited number of prints available and the prices have been cut by half!
Selected 5x5" prints are $8 instead of $17 and selected 8x8" prints are $12 instead of $25. Bargain!

Run Down and Uninspiring?

London Road, run down, and uninspiring until recently.
Since starting my project, 365 Days in Colour I look at the world in a different way.
After a huge photographic block, I feel refreshed.
I can see things that were always there, I just didn't notice.

Counting with Animals.

I recently visited my family and discovered an old box of farm animals my brothers and I played with as children.

I brought them home for my son and photographed a few. They bring back so many fond memories :)

Fun on the Pier

Brighton Pier on a bright morning, the only time I ever visit.
I love the pier when there are no crowds; just me, my son, my camera and the odd person taking a stroll.
