Hello Weekend!

After a busy week, I am certainly looking forward to the weekend!
Tonight I'll have a few drinks at the pub with a good friend. Tomorrow, my partner, son and I are camping with a group of friends and their children. I just can't wait!

Horse - A New Project.

I have begun my second year-long project and I think it's a tough one!

The subject is a toy horse I played with as a child.
My aim is to photograph this horse every day for a year. Being an object that doesn't change or move, my challenge is to create a different, thoughtful scene every day. I hope to make this collection into a book next year.

I am three days in and have 362 days left to go. Gulp!

All images will be uploaded to flickr, I have also created a blog entitled Horse, feel free to follow.

Warm Summer Evenings.

I have just been browsing Pinterest, my new obsession. All the images I pinned had similar colour palettes. So here is a mish mash of beautiful things but the colours are linked, they remind me of warm summer evenings. Real eye candy!

UPPERCASE Magazine Feature

I was very pleased to see UPPERCASE Magazine waiting for me when I returned from my holiday. I am in issue 6!
It is a double page feature on my photographs of suitcases and what they mean to me.
I have a fascination with old luggage and their history, a romantic fantasy of the places they have been and the things they held.

Holiday

I am taking a break for a week.
I have a friend visiting for the weekend, she is due to arrive within the hour. Eeeee!

While I am away next week, I may try and blog a little on my brand new ipad, then again I may not! It all depends how busy I am relaxing.
