We moved into our house almost one year ago...time flies!

All the rooms are coming together at last, it looks and feels like home. I thought I would browse etsy for some inspiration for our kitchen which is still not how we would like it. We are not in the position to drastically change anything but little things can make all the difference.

The photograph in the centre is not the look we are going for, I just like the image :)

Female Photographers of Etsy

Elle Moss, a fellow photographer on etsy, has set up an etsy team called "Female Photographers of Etsy". It's very exciting stuff!

Once approved by etsy, our team will have a blog too, thanks to the effort of some of our members. If you are a female photographer and sell on etsy, please feel free to join the flickr group. As it is set to private, please add Elle Moss as a contact then email her to express an interest to join.

Travel

Summer is almost here, the weather is hotting up and many of us are dreaming of holidays.

The anticipation of the journey to a faraway place is so exciting for me.
Waiting at the airport or catching a train.
Wondering what my destination will be like.
New smells, sounds and sights, new tastes and different air.

I looked around etsy with travel in mind, here's what I found.

I always look forward to seeing her wonderful photographs, she is so talented!

Motorway

What do Motorways do to you?

I get so bored as a passenger on the motorway; grey, dull....boring.
I inevitably get my camera out and play around, usually taking pictures of myself or my feet at quirky angles.

This weekend we visited friends in Essex which is a two hour drive from Brighton. I set myself a task to post at least three motorway photographs on my blog, I snapped away, determined to capture some interesting images to show you.

Brighton Street Art

I am not a huge fan of some grafitti but I have seen lots of weird and wonderful street art in Brighton. Some disappear as quickly as they appear.

I am yet to see DogGirl by Funky Red Dog who dreamed up the Dalmatians in the top picture. One day...
